This is a SOLE SOURCE NOTICE. The 102nd Mission Support Contracting office has a sole source requirement to provide a Rental Generator 500kw, 480v, standby rate. This procurement is considered critical for mission, thus unusual and compelling urgency under FAR Part 13 is required as lack of a generator for Bldg 168 for an extended period induces unacceptable operational risk for mission support. South Shore Generator is currently awarded a base plus four (4) year contract for maintenance and repair of the inoperable generator. As a result, South Shore Generator has furnished a rental unit until they are able to obtain the broken parts and repair the broken generator, which is critical in restoring power to the building.
