Program Expectations
It is the intent of the City that the following objectives be met as a result of this Contract:
• Maximize the number of Westminster households served by the HHW program within the limits of the HHW program budget.
• Continue to provide safe and convenient options for residents to dispose of HHW including Door-to-Door collection and drop-off at a permanent HHW facility within the Denver metro area.
• Maximize diversion of HHW from Westminster’s residential waste stream.
• Maximize local recycling of HHW diverted from Westminster’s residential waste stream.
• Form a cooperative partnership with the successful Consultant to maximize public education, customer service.
• Provide a legal alternative to disposing of waste in storm drains.
