The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Liberia intends to make a sole source award to The Voith Group for the purpose of rehabilitation of turbines 2, 3, and 4 of the Mount Coffee Hydro Power Plant.The Voith Group is the engineering firm that built the hydro power turbines under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact project between 2015 to 2020 and is currently responsible for maintenance and sustainability of the system.  Therefore, USAID determined that The Voith Group is the best source that can provide the specified upgrade services at the mount coffee power plant because of the proprietary design and voiding of the warranty
