This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 – Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.The Government intends to sole source this action. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered by the agency.The project scope consists of training sessions for a workforce of approximately 250 employees. The sessions would be split into two (2) groups of leaders (interns/journeymen- approximately 210 employees, and leaders/supervisors- approximately 40 employees) and include various soft skills topics. Each session would include up to 25 participants. In order to provide training for all 250 employees, each soft skills topic would be offered/run for a total of ten (10) sessions (eight (8) sessions for interns/journeymen, two (2) sessions for leaders/supervisors). Training will be conducted between October and November of 2022 with additional topics and sessions occurring in 2023. Topics include: critical thinking, communication, time and workload management, and leadership. The requirement also includes a requirement for a detailed training plan to be delivered no later than 30
