The MCC room requires a temperature-controlled area to prevent damage to the electrical components. The current A/C system is 10+ years old and in need of replacement as soon as possible. 2) OBJECTIVE – City of Palm Coast is soliciting quotes to replace the A/C system in the Nano-filtration building MCC control room to ensure the electrical room is maintaining proper temperature control. 3) QUALIFICATIONS a) Prospective contractors shall provide a minimum of (3) large commercial installations upon request b) The contractor must become a registered vendor with the City of Palm Coast prior to start of the project. The City of Palm Coast requires that all vendors are registered on Sunbiz. 4) SCOPE OF WORK – a) The selected contractor will be responsible for the purchase and installation of the following: • 1 – 480 volts, 3 phase,10 Ton air handler (or equivalent) • 2 – 480 volts, 3 phase,10 Ton condenser units to be redundant (or equivalent) b) The new system is to include new thermostat with remote sensors. c) All coils in this system must be coated to prevent corrosion (corrosive atmosphere). d) Each vendor must have a 5-year warranty on parts (must indicate on quote). e) Contractor to remove and dispose of existing A/C system per local and state guidelines. f) An onsite visit is required from all prospective contractors must be conducted prior to submitting a quote.
