Industry Manufacturing Program Expansion

The Bureau of Prison (BOP) intends to make awards to accredited colleges and universities responsible for the provision of a course of study leading to an earned college certificate within the Industry Manufacturing field. The college or university offering the program shall be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education System and accredited by a regional higher education accreditation organization (for example, North Central Association of Schools and Colleges, Western Association of Schools or Colleges, etc.). This notice is to assist the BOP in determining sources only and a solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from this response. Responses to this source sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
