The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) intends to retain a Contractor to provide construction services for interior renovations to a Government of Canada building in Lower Sackville, NS. The Contractor must complete the Work within 40 weeks from the date of contract award. This is a two-phase selection process. Bidders responding to this Invitation to Tender are to submit a bid in two phases. Please see attached Invitation to Tender document for details. The successful Bidder's personnel, as well as any subcontractor and its personnel, who are required to perform any part of the Work pursuant to the subsequent contract must meet the mandatory security requirements as indicated in the attached Invitation to Tender document. There will be a Phase Two site visit. The date, time and location for the Phase Two site visit will be identified during Phase Two. Basis of selection: Phase One Qualifications – will be opened privately. Requirements will be evaluated on a pass or fail basis.
Failure to meet any or all of the Phase One mandatory requirement(s) will render the Phase One bid non-responsive and no further consideration will be given to the Phase One bid. The responsive Phase One Bidders will be advised of their competitive standing, sent the Phase Two documentation, and have the opportunity to decide whether or not to continue their participation by submitting a Phase Two bid. Phase Two Price - Submittals will be evaluated against the Phase Two mandatory requirements. Failure to comply with any or all of the Phase Two mandatory requirement(s) will render the Phase Two bid non-responsive and no further consideration will be given to the Phase Two bid. The responsive Phase Two bid with the lowest price will be recommended for contract award. Tenders must be submitted to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit at: ATL_Procurement@rcmp-grc.gc.ca Refer to the attached tender documents to obtain further information. Canada retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation. Canada will make available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) at https://canadabuys.canada.ca/en/tender-opportunities . Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities whatsoever for the information found on websites of third parties. In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications. Canada will post all amendments, including significant enquiries received and their replies, using GETS. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the most up-to-date information. Canada will not be liable for any oversight on the Bidder's part nor for notification services offered by a third party.
