Summit County Government (the “County”) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to develop a Threats and Hazards Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) and Stakeholder Preparedness Review (SPR). The planning process and the finalized THIRA/SPR will follow the steps outlined, and be in compliance with FEMA’s Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 201, 3 rd Edition. Summit County does not have a THIRA so this will involve the entire planning process from the beginning. The expected timeline for revision includes a final draft submitted no later than December 12, 2022. Copies of the request are available at www.SummitCountyCO.gov under ‘Bids & Proposals’ or by request at the Summit County Office of Emergency Management.
