REQUEST FOR PROPSALS
RFP EP20/21-20
BID OPENING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 25, 2021 AT 11AM
The City is seeking to purchase and have delivered Ballistic Resistance Police Body Armor. The City estimates that it will purchase fifteen (84) Ballistic Resistance Police Body Armor units for officers over the next three years, approximately (44) in year one. Approximately (8) Ballistic Resistance Police Body Armor units will be for female officers off this bid. These estimated quantities are based upon the best available information. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity by any amount deemed necessary to meet its needs without any adjustments in the quoted price.
Four (4) copies of proposals shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Dawn Kenney, Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 25, 2021 AT 11AM. The bids will be publicly recorded. Bids received with a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected. The outside envelope needs to be marked RFP EP20/21-20.
The City reserves the right to reject any/or all companies, to waive any informality in the proposal statement and to accept the proposal of any company based on what the City deems to be in its best interest.
