synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordancewith the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included inthis notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued.Synopsis/Solicitation N0017822R6300 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Thesynopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effectthrough the Federal Acquisition Regulation as indicated in the attached SF1449. TheSF1449 form is being utilized to generate the applicable clauses from the StandardProcurement System.This requirement is eligible for total small business set-aside.The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure a7.5 ton overhead crane (one each), including design, manual, and installation inaccordance with the attached SF1449, RFQ, and attachments.Please include shipping/freight cost to NSWCDD, Dahlgren VA 22448-5114. Delivery is120 days after distribution of award. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will beutilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13.52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, andC-212-W001, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items Addendum, apply tothis acquisition.The order shall be firm fixed price.A prebid site visit related to this requirement will be conducted on 13 Jan. 2021 at 11:00AM (EST) as outlined in the SF1449.
