2023 Peace Officer Vehicle Tender Project Description :MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF PROVOST NO. 52 2023 TENDER SPECIAL SERVICE VEHICLE (PEACE OFFICER) The M.D. of Provost No. 52 is currently accepting tenders on one (1) Special Service Utility Vehicle: - 2023 Full-Size SUV Police Vehicle Model or equivalent (Ford Expedition SSV/ Chevrolet Tahoe SSV or equivalent) - 4x4 - 4-wheel heavy duty disc brakes - Skid plate package - Remote keyless entry and remote start (4 sets of keys) - Fog/driving lights - Air, cruise, tilt, power windows and locks - Min 350 horsepower, 380 ft/lbs torque engine - White in color - Automatic transmission. - High output alternator, minimum 250amp output - AM/FM radio. - Bluetooth hands-free phone connection - Cold weather package with Engine block heater - Weather tech or equivalent floor liners front seats only - Aluminium rims - Trailer tow package, equipped with receiver hitch at rear. 6000lb minimum towing capacity - All rear windows tinted/privacy glass. - Front

recovery/tow hooks - Running boards - Heavy duty mudflaps installed front and rear. Acceptance of tender will be contingent on the suitability of the product to meet the M.D. of Provost requirements as per but not necessarily limited to the above specifications. These factors will be weighted at 40%, with the tendered price weighted at 60%. Tenders are to be submitted no later than 12:00 Noon on March 28, 2023. No faxes or email submissions will be accepted. The M.D. reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted or any part and the lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted. A decision will be made on March 30, 2023. Commissions earned by the Rural Municipalities of Alberta from approved suppliers to that Association’s trade division will be considered when comparing prices. Please indicate if your prices include the commission. Also, please quote G.S.T. separately and quote freight F.O.B. Provost, Alberta.
