On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. through 12:00 p.m., Central Time, the FAA Small Business Program Office (AAP-20) plans to host their Annual FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) Small & Disadvantaged Business (SDB) virtual Matchmaking and Networking Event. The event is intended to include one-on-one matchmaking sessions with FAA procurement officials. Registration procedures is currently planned to be publicly announced at
www.sam.gov during the week of June 12th. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE. The MMAC is home to the largest number of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) employees outside the Washington, D.C. area. MMAC operates under the Office of Finance and Management (AFN) headquarters in Washington, D.C. AFN is responsible for providing, and streamlining the FAA's common business services through a consolidated integrated approach. MMAC core (aviation safety service functions)include technical training (Air Traffic Controller, Engineering & technician, and Flight Safety Inspector) development and delivery, corporate outreach, emergency readiness, property management, facilities management, and infrastructure support, centralized National Airspace System (NAS) logistics support, repair and overhaul as well as financial management, and information systems.
