NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to issue a sole source contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 to TDK-Lambda Americas: location5 Essex Road, Neptune, NJ 07753. The proposed contract action is for High Voltage Capacitor Charging Power TDK-Lambda Americas 802L-3kV-POS-3P208 required to replace the existing power units. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. TDK-Lambda Americas was found to be the sole provider. No other company is known to provide this specific high voltage capacitors to meet the Kirk Modules requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. The NAICS code is 335999 and the applicable business size is 500 employees. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail.
