Request for Proposal: 2023 Emergency and Abandoned Vehicle Towing Issue Date: Tuesday, January 24, 2023 Submittal Deadline: Tuesday, February 21, 2023, 2:00 p.m. INTRODUCTION The City of Alameda (City) is a unique island community of approximately 79,000 people faced with a wide variety of environmental, climate change, land use, planning, and transportation issues and challenges. The City is seeking experienced companies to provide towing and storage of vehicles from public and private property as directed by authorized representatives of the Alameda Police Department for a five (5) year period commencing April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2028, strictly in accordance with the instructions, terms, conditions and specifications as herein described. The City will review proposals, rank the companies, and invite finalists to a panel interview. The City will evaluate the interviews, rank the companies, and invite the finalist company to enter into a contract with the City for a five-year
