RFP - Martin Square Digital Directory Signage and Associated SoftwareStart Date:04/02/2024 6:00 PMClose Date:04/30/2024 5:00 PM The Village is seeking proposals for the design, fabrication and installation of interactive digital directory signage in Martin Square, a public open space in downtown Homewood, Illinois. The signage will be placed adjacent to an intersection with high pedestrian traffic which frequently serves as a pedestrian entrance for events in Martin Square. Additionally, the Village is seeking proposals which provide software to manage advertising, directory information, and/or other features which allow for interaction with the sign by

users and edits to sign messaging and information at the Village’s discretion. The signage should be able to be constructed in an existing paved area and connected to existing electrical connections. This proposed electronic directory signage is designed to increase the visibility of businesses in the downtown area and surrounding business districts, while increasing the presence of wayfinding and marketing services oriented toward visitors in downtown Homewood. Given that the Village’s local business environment is distributed across numerous small business nodes (i.e. Southgate, Cherry Creek, Northgate, etc.) outside of the downtown district, Village staff have recognized the need to market small businesses in other areas of the Village to downtown business visitors who may also benefit from exposure to other businesses in the Homewood community.
