The work to be done is summarized as follows: Construct Southeast Streetscape Water Main Extension including all labor, materials and equipment necessary for approximately 400 linear feet of 8-inch directionally bored water main, water services, hydrants, valves, surface restoration and miscellaneous associated work, including cleanup.Sealed proposals be filed with the Clerk of the Indianola Municipal Utilities in the Board Room of the Indianola Municipal Building, 210 W. 2nd Avenue, Indianola, Iowa before 2:00 P.M. local time on the 21st day of March, 2024 for the construction of the Southeast Streetscape Water Main Extension, and work incidental thereto, as described in the plans and specifications therefor, now on file in the office of the IMU Clerk. Proposals will be opened and the amount of the bids announced in said Board Room by the IMU Clerk at the time and date specified above.Proposals will be acted upon by the Board of Trustees of Indianola Municipal Utilities at 5:30 P.M. on the 25th day of March, 2024, or at such later time and place as then may be fixed.
