SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), G. V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Owl, Inc. for an emergency bridge contract for Patient Ground Transportation services at the Jackson, MS VAMC. NAICS Code 485991, size standard $16.5 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302-2 (unusual and compelling urgency), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Owl, Inc., as they are available to do the emergency work in the short turnaround time required and not allow for patient care to be jeopardized. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
