Design & Layout of Materials for Occupational Training Packages Project Description :MiHR’s National Occupational Standards (NOS) and National Occupational Training Standards (NOTS) There are many large mining operations in Canada with the resources and commitments to maintain substantial training departments, however smaller operators are unable to provide a full range of training offerings. In response, MiHR works with employers and education to develop and maintain National Occupational Standards (NOS)that establish clear, objective benchmarks of the skills and knowledge required for workers to perform in a particular occupation. National Occupational Training Standards (NOTS)align to their respective NOS and identify the learning outcomes and learning objectives to guide the development of quality training and support the development of the workforce skills needed by employers. Following the development of Frontline Supervisor, Minerals Processing Operator, Underground Miner and Driller Training, MiHR is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to design four training
