the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 and June 30, 2024. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial audits in the General Accountability Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards (2018) issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, the provisions of the federal Single Audit Act of 1984 (as amended in 1996) and the associated requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). To be considered, five (5) copies of a proposal must be addressed to Tera Loveless-Ortiz and RECEIVED at the Finance Department at 1600 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93301 by 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2023. The City of Bakersfield reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted.
