The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a firm- fixed-price contract to Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), Baltimore, MD, on a sole-source basis to procure the following Multi-function Active Sensor (MFAS) spares (estimated); Antenna Group Assembly (AGA) P/N 219K100G03, Qty 6; Wideband Receiver Exciter (WBRE) P/N 218K000G03 Qty 6; Radar Signal Processor (RSP) P/N 272K300G01, Qty 10; Antenna Drive Electronics ADE P/N N30178H02, Qty 2; and RSP Power Supply (PS) P/N N01424H03, Qty 2, in support of the Triton MQ-4C program.The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements" for the proposed action. NGC-Baltimore is the sole designer and developer of the Triton MQ-4C MFAS.THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract actions based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
