Information Contact Info Greg Taylor gtaylor@cityofsacramento.org Bids to Uploaded to Planet Bids Owner's Agent Greg Taylor Description Scope of Services The City of Sacramento Department of Public Works (the City) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to firms with experience in public governance, management and finance to solicit creative approaches in formulating a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the City’s study and implementation of a new governance structure for the city-owned Sacramento Valley Station (SVS). The SVS is the region’s intercity rail station, serving Northern California and connections to statewide and national routes through several rail and bus operators. Statewide, Amtrak rail operations are second in services only to Union Station in Los Angeles. The SVS has adopted plans with significant potential for growth and expansion. Other Details Responses to this Request for Information will be considered in the development of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the “Sacramento Valley Station Governance and Operations.” Through the RFP, the City will seek to engage the services of an experienced consultant team to achieve the City’s goals of developing a new governance, finance, and operations structure for a regional transportation facility and relationship with transit-oriented development district.
