Biomass Management and Utilization Plan across Jurisdictions within Boulder County

1.Purpose/Background Boulder County is committed to promoting local initiatives that bolster landscape resilience and restoration in the face of climate change. Towards this commitment, the Boulder County Office of Sustainability, Climate Action & Resilience (OSCAR) seeks to hire a consultant to develop a comprehensive Biomass Management and Utilization Plan that outlines forestry and liability biomass management strategies across all jurisdictions within Boulder County, with a focus on biomass utilization, to further wildfire mitigation efforts, climate resilience goals, and the ability of our natural systems to store carbon. 2.Written Inquiries All inquiries regarding this RFP will be submitted via email to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at purchasing@bouldercounty.gov on or before 2:00 p.m. September 15, 2023.
