Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source2nd Expeditionary Contracting Platoon (ECP), Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Viasat Inc., 6155 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA, 92009 under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) Only Soliciting from a single source.THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.   The proposed contract action is a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This requirement is to provide 2nd ECP, Camp Lejeune with the following SOLE SOURCE services:CLINs description: The contractor shall provide roaming/satellite services to two Viasat manufactured Multi Mission Terminals for the 24th MEU, inside and outside of the United States.Justification: The Multi Mission Terminals were originally manufactured by Viasat Inc.
