Hawaii Small Rural Hospital Improvement Program: American Rescue Plan Act
Solicitation Description
Funding is provided through a federal SHIP grant and is designed to help small
rural hospitals of less than 50 beds conduct COVID-19 testing, provide testing
education, establish alternate testing sites, process test results, and engage in
other activities within the CDC Community Mitigation Framework.
To be considered, interested parties must be a hospital in a rural designated area
in Hawaii; have fewer than 50 acute care beds; and submit a completed
application, which can be obtained from Scott Daniels at
scott.daniels@doh.hawaii.gov. Applications will be evaluated on the applicant
meeting program requirements.
