Synopsis for Satellite TelevisionThe Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Bliss, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for commercial services for satellite television. The requirement will be restricted to small business entities for a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 515210 Cable and Other Subscription Programming with a small business size standard of $38.5 million.The contractor shall provide all resources and services necessary to provide satellite television as defined in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The estimated schedule of work is listed in the draft PWS. The contractor shall accomplish all work in accordance with (IAW) the objectives and responsibilities normally performed by a Satellite Television ServiceInitial performance period shall run from 23 July 2018 through 22 July 2019, with two one-year option periods through 22 July 2021. The total contract period of
performance will not exceed 5 years. The resultant solicitation will be a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) and award will be based on commercial procedures found in the FAR Parts 12 and 13. This synopsis is valid as of Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-97.The RFP number will be W911SG18Q0028 and will be issued via FedBizOpps (FBO) as will any amendments to the solicitation. The anticipated date the RFP will be available is on or around the middle of May. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendments will not be provided. The RFP will be available by electronic transmission ONLY. Potential contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM),
www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.The single source of entry for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition will be posted on the government procurement website at
