PUBLIC NOTICE ADL 234212 Easement Development Chugach Electric Association Moose Pass, AlaskaSeptember 7, 2023Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:APPLICANT: Chugach Electric AssociationPROJECT NAME: ADL 234212GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Moose Pass, Alaska LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 1, Township 4 North, Range 1 West, Seward Meridian.REQUESTED EASEMENT DESCRIPTION: A right-of-way parcel depicted as Lot 41 on Supplemental Plat 2528.REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested to develop an existing right-of-way parcel over State-owned, DMLW managed lands, 533 feet long and 20 feet wide with a total area of approximately 0.24 acres to install electrical facilities. The purpose of the proposed easement is to authorize the installation of conduit in cable, installation of an enclosure housing electrical connections (“pull box”), and installation of two transformers to provide electrical service to Lot 32. The
authorization, if approved, may differ from that described herein. DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: On or before October 9, 2023.The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.
