 SOURCES SOUGHTThis is a sources sought announcement for market analysis to determine the availability of potential interested vendors. No awards will be made from this notice. No solicitation is available at this time. Therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future acquisition. The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron located at Cannon Air Force, New Mexico, is seeking sources interested in a possible award to provide a Vindicator Alarm System for Cannon AFB, NM. Please reference the specifications below if interested.The Contractor shall install a new Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS) at Buildings listed in the solicitation.. Corby keypad shall be installed at the entrance, just inside of the door. Installation will include all items as described below, as well as any equipment or items stated or implied in the applicable governing regulations for IDS installation,
certification and monitoring. The Contractor shall install:-As many Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Sensors to monitor each building listed above as required.-The Balance Magnetic Switches (BMS) for all exterior doors of each building listed above. -All required control cables from the IDS panel to PIR Motion Sensors, and BMS.-GROUND all equipment per industry standards.-Electrical Metal Tubing (EMT) pathways for cabling, core penetration where necessary.-Provide backup battery power to the IDS system in the buildings listed above to allow for a minimum of 4 hour coverage, in the event of power loss.  The Contractor shall provide initial training before acceptance to all personnel identified by the customer, maximum 50 personnel. Training requirements shall be defined by the security system design. The final system design will be approved by the Government prior to installation. All training will take place at Cannon AFB, NM after installation and will be done before final system acceptance.
