CITY OF REVERE BID FOR BEACHMONT SCHOOL UNIT VENTILATOR REPLACEMENT PROJECT BID NO: SCH-2023-1006 This bid is for Unit Ventilator, Pneumatic Controls & Piping Replacement. Revere Beachmont Veterans Memorial School, Revere, Massachusetts as per plans and specifications. Separate sealed general bids will be received by the City of Revere Purchasing Agent, Michael Piccardi, at his office, Revere City Hall, Revere, Massachusetts, prior to 12:00 p.m., October 11, 2023, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. The time stamp in the Purchasing Office shall govern the time. Separate sealed Filed Sub-bids will be received by the City of Revere Purchasing Agent, Michael Piccardi, at his office, Revere City Hall, Revere, Massachusetts, prior to 12:00 p.m. September 27, 2023, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. The time stamp in the Purchasing Office shall govern the time. Each general bidder must be certified by DCAMM for the category of work of HVAC and in the

dollar amount of this Project. Each general bidder must also submit a copy of the Certificate of Eligibility from DCAMM showing that it is eligible to bid on the project, as well as an Update Statement with its bid. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed below and bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement. TRADES - 26 00 00 - Electrical Work Specifications and bid forms may be obtained electronically from the office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Revere, Massachusetts, beginning September 6, 2023 at purchasing@revere.org. Revere City Hall office hours are Monday and Wednesday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday’s, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Revere City Hall is closed on Friday’s. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or treasurer’s check from a bank or trust company or money order of not less than five percent (5%) of its bid. The selected contractor shall provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The City’s right is reserved to reject any or all bids or any part of a bid, which in the opinion of the City Purchasing Agent is most advantageous to the City of Revere. Complete instructions for filing bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, §26 to §27H, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on minimum wage rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract.
