THE METROPOLITAN DISTRICT FARMINGTON 11 WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT CONTRACT NUMBER 2021B-09INVITATION TO BIDSealed Bids for construction of Contract Number 2021B-09, Farmington 11 Water Main Replacement will be received and safeguarded by The Metropolitan District, at the office of the District Clerk of the Metropolitan District, 555 Main Street, Hartford, CT, 06103 until 2:00 PM (Local Time), July 22, 2022 and at that time and place Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by online conference call. All interested parties may join either by this link, https://themdc.webex.com/meet/tsweeney, OR by phone: (415) 655-0001, enter meeting # 2307 097 3386 to connect to the meeting.The Work shall consist of all labor, equipment, fees, permits, and other related costs necessary to provide for the installation of 1400 feet of new 24-inch Water Main on Farmington Avenue, the replacement of water services, the
abandonment of water main and the restoration of areas disturbed by the completion of the project along with support equipment and accessories as shown and specified. Bidders are directed to Section 01010 Summary of Work for specific details. The Work shall be located in the City of Hartford; in the State of Connecticut.A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for potential Bidders at June 22, 2022 at 10:00 am at MDC’s PreBid Conference Room, 231 Brainard Rd, Hartford, CT. Prospective Bidders must attend this conference.
