A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Lions Park 516 Dennis Ave., Raleigh beginning at the parking area adjacent to the Community Center. All prospective bidders must attend and are encouraged to participate in this meeting. Parking to attend this meeting is available in the parking area where the meeting will begin. Requirements for pre-bid submittals of an or-equal, or owner approved equivalent are required within [10] days of the issuance of the Advertisement for Bids and in accordance with Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders. The Project consists generally of the following major items: Install power operated entrance gates at the three primary park entrance driveways at the City of Raleigh - Lions Park (516 Dennis Avenue, Raleigh), one on Bennett Street and two on Dennis Avenue, in conformance with the requirements specified in the bidding documents. Note that separate bids will be solicited for the electrical installations required as a portion of this overall project. The Citys preferred Security Contractor will also work in conjunction with the successful Electrical Contractor to complete this installation. The Gate Installation Contractor shall work in conjunction with the successful Electrical Contractor and Security Contractor to successfully complete the installations for this project.
