USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Plant Protection andQuarantine (PPQ) Program seeks to contract with a certified laboratory with theability to provide pesticide air quality sampling in support of plant commodityimport operations.The air samples shall be packaged and shipped under chain-of-custodyprocedures to a certified laboratory (National Environmental LaboratoryAccreditation Program (NELAP/ELAP), AIHA Laboratory Accreditation (AIHA-LAP))to perform the following analysis:- Chlorinated pesticides using the National Institute for Occupational Safetyand Health (NIOSH) Method 5510; and- Organophosphorous pesticides using the NIOSH Methods 5600/5601The samples shall be analyzed by the laboratory using gas chromatography-flame photometric detector and gas chromatography, electron capture detector.The unrestriced solicitation is posted
