McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), NJ is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested Small Business sources for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 - Electrical contractors and other wiring installation. The small business size standard is $19M. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors interested in providing proposals. The work consists of providing labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to inspect, test, troubleshoot, construct, and maintain and repair electrical systems on Joint Base McGuire/Dix/Lakehurst in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The work may include, but is not limited to: providing inspection, testing, construction, maintenance, repair, demolition and replacement of electrical systems for Underground primary medium voltage (MV) electrical power distribution systems including pad mounted switchgear, pad mounted transformers and Coordinated Power System Protection, Utility electric service connection to facilities, interior electrical power distribution system in facilities, interior lighting systems in facilities, exterior lighting systems, fire alarm systems, voice and data cabling in facilities, and lighting protection system. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is: More than $10,000,000.
