END OF UPDATE The County of Sonoma is pleased to invite you to respond to a REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK FOR THE
SONOMA COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH LAB & MORGUE PROJECT. The County of Sonoma (“County”) is requesting submission of Proposals (together, “Response(s)”) from firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, persons, or professional organizations qualified to be a Construction Manager at Risk (“CMAR(s)”) to perform construction management and delivery services, including preparation and coordination of bid packages, scheduling, cost control, value engineering, evaluation, preconstruction services, and construction administration, in connection with the Sonoma County Public Health Lab (“Project,” as further described in Attachment No. 2) pursuant to a construction manager at risk contract for a guaranteed project cost, as provided by Public Contract Code section 20146, et seq. SPI-bid-inquiries@sonoma-county.org. Mandatory Site Visit: There shall be a mandatory site visit on the date and at the time indicated in the RFP Schedule. All Entities that intend to submit a Response must attend the site visit. Failure of any Entity to attend the mandatory site visit shall be grounds for the County to deem the Entity’s Response non-responsive and will be rejected. The living wage rate required under the County’s Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) has increased. Effective January 1, 2024, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $18.10 per hour. The adjustment was adopted by the County’s Board of Supervisors on December 12, 2023, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d).
