There are currently over (20) individual PLCs in use along with\nnumerous loop controllers, hardwired

switches, lights, relays, and times. The operating displays, controls,\nand feedback for these systems are located in the facility control room but they are spread throughout the\nroom on several different control console stations which makes it difficult and labor intensive for the\nfacility operator to effectively control each system.\n\nWith this upgrade Kent County is seeking an Electrical Contractor to design, procure, and install field\nwiring for the new automation system to allow for another (20) years of facility operation and also\nmodernize the automation to allow for easier and more efficient facility operation.\n\nAll proposal documents, preproposal RFIs, project bidding documents, and other project related\ndocuments will be posted to Granger\u2019s Building Connected Public Plan Room, using the below link:\n\nGranger Construction Company Public Plan Room\n\nProposals are requested and will be received as a \u201csingle lump sum proposal with completed bid\nbreakdown form\u201d prior to 11:00 AM local time on 11/30/2023.
