HUMBOLDT STATE UNIV/LEASE OF VESSEL

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a vessel requirement to support the deployment of six (6) Seafloor Geodesy monuments and one (1) wave glider, and to recover the wave glider approximately six weeks following the deployment. XBT sound velocity measurements will be taken at each deployment site. The planned deployment window of operations is August 30th-September 3rd, 2021 and October 19th through October 21st, 2021 for the wave glider recovery.The proposed action will be awarded in accordance with FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.This combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm fixed price commercial service contract is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 140G0321Q0127 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).The solicitation and

incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-05, effective March 10, 2021. Please see solicitation with CLINS, technical specifications, provisions, and clauses.All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted to the Contracting Officer by 3:00pm ES on June 25, 2021.Quotations are due no later than 3:00pm ES on July 9, 2021.
