The area subject to janitorial services is approximately 141,738 square feet and the services must be provided daily including weekends and holidays as detailed in the Scope of Work document. Due to the Transportation Security Administration security requirements, all janitorial employees will be required to pass a fingerprint-based criminal history background check and a security threat assessment.The Airport is currently completing Terminal Building renovations with some areas not requiring cleaning. A renovation schedule will be provided to the awarded Contractor. Once the renovations are 100% complete, the entirety of the airport shall be serviced. The County reserves the right to

either add or remove square footage and/or frequency of service(s) at any time during the resulting contract.TimelineRelease Project Date:March 13, 2024Pre-Proposal Meeting (Mandatory):March 27, 2024, 9:30am IN PERSON MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING: A mandatory, in person, pre-proposal meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 27th beginning at 9:30am. At least one (1) representative of the firm shall be present at the mandatory pre-proposal meeting and the mandatory site visit to be considered for evaluation. Site visits will begin immediately following the pre-proposal meeting on March 27th, 2024. The meeting will be held at Daytona Beach International Airport, The McGee Room, 700 Catalina Drive Daytona Beach, FL. As you enter the building through the front doors, the McGee Room is located up the escalator, on the 2nd level, with the entrance on the left just before you reach security. Parking is available in the Short-Term Lot.
