Vendor Shall include shipping costs to: Lasalle Maintenance Yard, 2991 St. Vincent Ave LaSalle, IL 61301. Vendor shall include training for and demonstration of all supplied items and software onsite at the listed address to Illinois Department of Transportation employees. Vendor shall be the manufacturer of the the items or an approved distributor or approved retailer and shall be able to provide evidence thereof upon request. Minimum Specifications for the Drone and its capabilities are in the attachment to this solicitation. Vendor shall attach to the bid specifications and brochures of the proposed Drone Kit, software and accessories. All of the items are specified by manufacturer and manufacturer's product number. These items and Items to be included in Kits are to establish standards of quality and performance and not for limiting competition. Products of other manufacturers may be substituted where specified if the bidder can establish that they are equal to or better than those specified in quality, performance, design, and suitability for intended use. The Illinois Department of Transportation's determination thereof shall be final. The Illinois Department of Transportation recognizes that differences in engineering design and methods may exist among manufacturers that do not significantly alter performance. The Illinois Department of Transportation reserves the right to determine when such differences are acceptable substitutes to the specifications and may waive technical differences in the award of the bid when it is in the best interest of the department.
