This project consists of placing a new pit latrine in the picnic area at Rock Creek State Park. This will be a single hole (46 square feet), right-handed pit latrine with ADA access. This includes incidental work as required by the project documents and the DNR. Contractor shall order and install a new Iowa Standard Pre-cast Pit Latrine according to the Specifications identified in Article 2. Contractor shall clean out any/all waste prior to demolition. The approximate capacity of the pit is 1,000 gallons. Bidders can measure for exact waste capacity during the site viewing.
