The Vermont Department for Children and Families’ (“DCF”) mission is to foster healthy development, safety, well-being, and self-sufficiency of Vermonters. The Department is structured around six Divisions that deliver programs and services to Vermonters; two of those Divisions are the Economic Services Division (“ESD”) and Family Services Division (“FSD”). ESD administers several benefits programs that help Vermonters meet their basic needs, including the General Assistance (“GA”) Emergency Housing Program’s expanded hotel and housing response to the State’s COVID-19 Response. FSD engages families, foster and kin caregivers, partner agencies, and the community to increase safety and law abidance for Vermont children and youth, including risk assessments, safety planning, and service delivery.
DCF is seeking to enter into a contract or contracts with one or more security consultation providers to provide statewide emergency planning and safety/security response consultation services to support ESD’s emergency housing program, FSD’s service delivery, and the management of critical projects needed for the State’s ongoing COVID-19
