capabilities to lease or sale of property for additional student housing (Project) serving primarily new first-year and transfer Texas State University students on the San Marcos Campus, at 601 University Drive, San Marcos, Texas. If availability remains, continuing Texas State students would be offered the opportunity to reside in these locations. The Owner intends to enter into one or more long-term contracts that provide additional student housing for occupancy on the San Marcos campus. The respondent will provide lease or sale of property to be managed by the Department of Housing and Residential Life at Texas State University. The primary goal of the Project is to enable the university to further its goals and mission with regards to excellence in education, to promote the success of all students, and to provide the necessary services, resources, and infrastructure to support the university’s strategic direction.
