Request for Information e-Procurement System/Contract Lifecycle Management Solution

LLNS in support of the Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), Livermore, CA is conducting market research to obtain information to potentially replace its current e-Procurement system (“System”). The current System was developed over 15-years ago and is functional and flexible in allowing LLNL’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) to meet its current mission requirements. While the current System remains operational, LLNS desires to explore new technology and capabilities to support its eventual replacement.LLNS is intentionally starting its market research early to allow a thoughtful and considered analysis in potentially acquiring a new e-Procurement system / Contract Lifecycle Management solution (“Solution”).This RFI is intended to be mutually beneficial by fostering early exchanges between industry and LLNS. Specifically, LLNS is sharing an advance/draft copy of the high-level overview of the core

functionality (Reference: Enclosure 1) believed to be needed, so industry may comment and provide insights on Solutions available within the commercial marketplace. Further, industry is provided an opportunity to provide input, identify potential gaps, and assess how responsive its Solution(s) are against meeting the Solution Parameters identified. Moreover, as there is no established timeframe for any acquisition, the information LLNS is sharing could be useful to interested parties in terms of making decisions about what action(s) they could take to close any gaps between our identified needs and the Solution to be prospectively offered.***Interested Parties are requested to review the two RFI Attachments before responding to this notice. ***Amendments/Specifications: LLNS reserves the right to change the Request for Information timeline or other portions of this request at any time.
