MATERIAL: SYNTHETIC RUBBER FACING WITH A CAST NON-FERROUS METAL SHELL MANUFACTURED TO MIL-DTL-17901C, CLASS II. SHAFT SLEEVE SIZE: 12.125". LENGTH: 24.250". FLANGE DIAMETER: 26". FLANGE THICKNESS: .75". BODY OUTSIDE DIAMETER (AT ROOT OF LANDS): 15.870" BODY OUTSIDE DIAMETER (OUTSIDE OF LANDS): 21.250 +.030 - .000. THE COAST GUARD HAS MODIFIED THIS REQUIREMENT, WHICH INCREASED THE O D OF THE LANDS BY 1/4" AND ELIMINATED THE DRILLING OF BOLT AND JACKING HOLES. SEE DEVIATIONS FROM MIL-DTL-17901 AND QPL-17901 LISTED BELOW. THE SHIPPING CONTAINER SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM D3951-98 USING THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS, FASTENERS AND PACKAGING. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 335129 and the business size standard is 500.
