Boat Concession Operations at Spanaway Lake Boathouse

Description Pierce County Parks and Recreation Services Department provides recreation programs and manages park facilities for the residents in the unincorporated areas of Pierce County.  Parks and Recreation Services manage approximately 5,000 acres of land, including open space, water access, trails, athletic fields, golf and park facilities, and community centers.  Spanaway Lake Park is a 65-acre site that includes two swimming beaches, picnic areas with five covered picnic shelters, playground, boat launch, boathouse with non-motorized boat rentals, fishing pier, open playfields, walking trails and restrooms. The park serves up to 500,000 visitors per year.Types of scheduled activities include picnics, youth t-ball, coach-pitch, sporting events, hydroplane races, and dog walks.
