Revision 1 - Updated to extend the response date through 30 November 2021. KD, 4 Oct 21THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS ISSUED AS MARKET RESEARCH. ALL REQUIREMENTS IDENTIFIED IN THIS RFI ARE TENTATIVE AND WILL BE FINALIZED PRIOR TO THE RELEASE OF ANY SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR TO OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED.The information provided is entirely voluntary and will not impact the ability to bid on future requirements.  This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), a request for proposal (RFP), or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services.  This RFI will remain open throughout CY21, but initial responses to attached questions are requested on or before 30 Nov 21.  Questions should be submitted to the CPOC below by the same date and all Answers (Q&As) will be posted on this link for
reference. The information you provide may be utilized by the United States Air Force and United States Space Force in developing acquisition strategies or strategic plans for future use of the site.  The information resulting from this RFI may or may not be included in one or more solicitations.  Respondents are encouraged to provide information which is not constrained by limited/restricted data rights.  However, if proprietary data is included in your reply, it shall be marked appropriately.The purpose of this RFI is to gather data to achieve a better understanding of the current and future aerospace market needs and gaps in rocket propulsion testing.  The Air Force Rocket Lab (AFRL) at Edwards AFB, CA has a wide array of test capabilities in support of research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) of both Liquid Rocket Engines (LRE) and Solid Rocket Motors (SRM).The attached questionnaire shall be filled out and returned to the Contracting Points of Contact (CPOC); Ms. Jenny Harris, jenny.harris.2@us.af.mil and Ms. Katy Day, kathrin.day-davis@us.af.mil
