The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) awarded a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to BENCHMARK MINERAL INTELLIGENCE, 3 Coldbath Square London, EC1R 5HL, for robust dataset of key global economic data for rare-earth elements, electric vehicle, and lithium ion battery trades datasets, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 and utilizing FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement is for SOURCE COMMERCIAL GEOINT ASSESSMENTS functions at NGA Campus East (NCE) and NGA Campus West (NCW). This effort will provide NGA with data access to conduct data-centric electric vehicle analysis with a specific focus on China Strategic Competition and monitor supply changing, address critical raw material dependency and develop a blueprint to protect the strategic interests of the U.S. automotive and energy industry. NGA asserts that BENCHMARK MINERAL INTELLIGENCE is the only source reasonably available to satisfy this requirement.A presolicitation notice was published on SAM.gov 18 July 2022, with no response. No competition was sought.
