This instrument is used for method development and process screening studies on biologic/protein drug substance manufacturing research using typical UV-Vis absorbance detection for large molecules. OBP has recently made upgrades to this instrument which allow more flexibility in the types of assays and workflows it can perform including the addition of disposable/small volume tips to allow for plate sampling from microcentrifuge tubes and sterile plate prep.
