IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POTENTIAL OFFERORS TO MONITOR THE GPE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THIS REQUIREMENT.”BACKGROUND: The Quality Engineering and Systems Assurance Directorate (QE&SA) is responsible for ensuring quality products are delivered to the Warfighter. As such, QE&SA requires state-of-the-art inspections technologies to perform various Non-Destructive Inspections (NDI). The acquisition of Ultrasonic Cleaner will be used with the new ultrasonic inspection system and magnetic particle wet bench to clean parts appropriately such that they do not contaminate wet bench fluid solution or the ultrasonic immersion tank couplant. This technology allows for deep, automatic cleaning of materials with the constraint of rough surfaces and potentially complicated geometries making manual cleaning laborious and impractical. This capital investment will enhance QE&SA’s mission to provide quality products to a wide variety of customers.    A total of one ultrasonic cleaner is to be purchasedSystem must meet the following specifications:The ability to accept cylindrical objects as long as 48” and with a diameter of 3.5”.The ability to accept cylindrical objects as long as 35” and with a diameter of 6.5”.The ability to support multiple cylindrical objects which can be physically separated from one another.Come equipped from the factory with a water heater.The ability to accept standard 120V single phase power outlets.Minimum ultrasonic power output of 1200 watts.Water capacity greater than or equal to 10 gal (37.85L).Stainless steel construction.The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332994 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. The Product Service Code is 6515.
