The improvements are anticipated to include rehabilitation of pavement that is in very poor condition along with complete reconstruction in certain section of the roadway. Also, reconstructing curb ramps to meet ADA compliance, filing sidewalk gaps, reconfiguring the roadway by reducing the number of travel lanes allowing for the installation of buffered Class II bicycle lanes. Traffic signal modifications at the intersection of Tulare and Fresno Street. Please see attached Grant Application Preliminary Plans for reference.
