4880-04 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Revised) 001114 - 1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Town of Oneida EDA Project Number: 04-79-07557 19922 Alberta Street GRW Project 4880-04 Oneida, TN 37841 Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Water Treatment Plant Additions 2020 EDA Project 04- 79-07557 consisting generally of flash mix, flocculation, and sedimentation basins and all related appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and as Specified will be received by the Town of Oneida at the Oneida Municipal Building located at 19922 Alberta Street, Oneida, TN 37841, until 2:00 P.M.(Local Time Eastern Time Zone), Wednesday, December 14, 2022, and then at said office opened and publicly read aloud. (Note: This is a rebid of the project previously bid on August 31, 2022.) The allotted time for construction is 365 calendar days; however, the Owner recognizes that delays in equipment deliveries may require a delayed completion date. Subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers not bidding may purchase a digital copy of the contract documents for $75.00 per CD. Payment is not refundable. Bids from anyone not on the Engineers Plan Holders List will not be opened. Previous Contract Document holders may request the revised set at no charge. Award of the Contract shall be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program.
