This sources sought announcement is for a "Counter - Small Unmanned Aerial System (C-SUAS) Electronic Drone Emulator" from the 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska,THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY: Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from the market research as a result of this sources sought announcement will be vital in the formation of any future solicitation.This is a sources sought announcement seeking vendors that may be able to perform this requirement in order to support a competitive procurement. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all interested businesses (large and small) to respond to this sources sought synopsis. In addition, small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled

If a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued for this requirement, it will not be issued under this number. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10.The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334515 - Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals, with a size standard of 750 Employees.The 673d Contracting Squadron) is conducting market research based on the following requirement for a handheld Counter - Small Unmanned Aerial System (C-SUAS) Electronic Drone Emulator.System must be able to receive and detect SUAS RF signals in common communication bands (2.4/5.8 GHz and 400/900 MHz)System must be able to validate the successful transmission of a protocol-based RF countermeasureSystem must provide supplemental environmental RF scanning to identify dynamic interference sourcesSystem must be able to receive support and software updatesSystem must be able to be reusued and withstand multiple Electronic Warfare (EW) C-UAS system type tests without alteration to the device.System must have an internal rechargeable battery that lasts for a minimum of 3 hoursSystem must have built-in display module that reflects user-based input and actionsResponses submitted should include:(1) Name and address of firm, phone/fax numbers, email address and point of contact;(2) Unique Entity ID (UEI) Number and Commercial and Government Entity Program (CAGE) Code(3) Type of small business, e.g., woman-owned, service-disabled veteran owned, small disadvantaged, etc.(4) Firm's experience; and(5) Firm's past performance with federal, state and local government agencies and/or commercial entities within the last three (3) years.
